Case studies of mechanical, functional and / or cosmetic damages through:

• check of design data and conditions of use;
• inspections test and destructive/non-destructive examinations, chemical analysis, electron microscopy examinations and micro analysis, macro and microfractographic inspections, metallographic analysis; microfractographic inspection using scanning electron microscopy (SEM);
• measurement of applied and residual tensional states;
• sizing and design checks; operating condition simulation;
• EDS microanalysis for cases of corrosion;
• study of the correlation of the properties and characteristics investigated to further understanding of the damage phenomena.
