- inspections test and destructive/non-destructive examinations, chemical analysis, electron microscopy examinations and micro analysis, macro and microfractographic inspections, metallographic analysis; microfractographic inspection using scanning electron microscopy (SEM);
- measurement of applied and residual tensional states;
- sizing and design checks; operating condition simulation;
- EDS microanalysis for cases of corrosion;
- study of the correlation of the properties and characteristics investigated to further understanding of the damage phenomena.

- planning of acceptance tests for monitoring product quality levels
